How to take measurements for a dog harness
Where to locate:
slightly above the shoulder blades.
Note:
the harness should not cover the shoulder blades, as it may interfere with movement while walking.
Point 2 – Base of the Neck
Where to locate:
just below the neck, in the chest area (sternum).
Note:
the connecting ring should not be located on the neck.
Where to locate:
immediately behind the front legs, at the widest part of the chest.
Note:
leave a gap from the front leg approximately equal to the width of the dog’s shoulder.
Where to locate:
directly above the third point, on the spine.
Note:
this point helps determine the length of the back strap on the harness.
